CpG 1018 promotes the induction of Th1 cells and CTLs in PBMCs. PMBCs were collected one week after immunization and stimulated with rHA overnight followed by immune staining and flow cytometry analysis. Cells were first gated based on FSC and SSC and then on CD4 and CD8 expression (Figure S1). IFNγ and IL4−secreting cells were then analyzed in CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells.
