Fragmentomics features in BC. The study of fragmentomics in BC includes various aspects such as the evaluation of fragment size and cfDI, the study of fragment ends with specific motifs included in the sequence of the fragment and the nucleosome footprints or position. The potentiality of fragmentomics covers a wide range of applications in BC, from the early stage with a role in cancer detection and evaluation of the minimal residual disease, to advanced stages, where it may be useful in the prediction of treatment efficacy or resistance and the evaluation of response to therapies.
