Light emission normalized to the untreated water control is plotted as relative luminescence emission (RLU) over time (seconds). After addition of the bacterial inoculum (mixed with 1 mM D-luciferin in the membrane assay) to the wells, preloaded with lipopeptides, the light emission was measured each second for three min. Each colored line represents the total 180 s data points (mean of three independent measurements) from the assay at different concentration of the lipopeptides.
