Effect of THC and CBN on cell proliferation and cell migration. (a) THC and CBN significantly inhibited the proliferation of CCA (HuCCT1) cells at 24 h–48 h in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, HuCCT1 cells were significantly inhibited by LY294002 and U0126 (P < 0.05). (b) Inhibition of cancer cell migration was evaluated via wound healing assays of HuCCT1 treated with THC and CBN at a concentration of 15 μM. These images show scratched and recovering wounded areas (marked by grey lines) on confluence monolayers of HuCCT1 cells at 0 h, 6 h, and 12 h, (c) The wound healing assay demonstrated that THC and CBN showed significantly inhibited cell migration compared to the control (P < 0.05 versus the control cells).
