Fig. 5 — On day 12, acute hemorrhage is seen in right temporoparietal cortex with mass effect that is predominantly isointense on axial T1-weighted imaging (T1WI) ( A ) and T2WI ( B ). Blooming and signal loss is seen on gradient imaging ( C ). Also note the focus of hyperintensity on T1WI ( A ) and edematous occipital gyri ( B ). Multiple foci of signal loss are also seen in bilateral frontal and parietal cortices on gradient imaging ( D ).
