Fig. 1. IL-10 expression increases in the MLN and small intestine during H. polygyrus infection.

Fig. 1

Il10gfp-foxp3rfp B6 mice were infected with 200 L3 H. polygyrus and 7 days later the small intestine and MLN were collected for analysis. Percentage of IL-10+ cells within a CD45+, b CD8+, c CD4+, d CD19+, e IL-7R+ Lineage- (ILCs), f CD11b+ and h FOXP3+ cells of the MLN and SILP of naïve and D7 infected mice. g Percentage of FOXP3+ cells within the CD4+ population in the MLN and SILP of naïve and D7 infected mice. Changes in proportion of IL-10 producing cells from total CD45+ IL-10+ cells in the (i) SILP and (j) MLN from naïve and D7 infected mice. Graphed data are shown with mean ± 1 SD and are pooled from 2–4 independent experiments with n = 2–5 per experiment. Statistical significance was calculated by Student’s t test where data were normally distributed (a, c (SILP)) and Mann–Whitney U test where data were not normally distributed (b, c (MLN), df). (Significance *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, ****p < 0.0001).
