Reactions were incubated at 55°C (Est29) or 50°C (Lip29) with final substrate concentrations of 10 mM in 50 mM sodium phosphate buffer, pH 6.0 (Est29) or 50 mM bicarbonate-carbonate buffer, pH 9.5 (Lip29).
