Amygdala-predominant cases had Lewy pathology in 1–3 structures predominantly within the red circle (in all cases including the amygdala), but limited or no pathology in brainstem or autonomic nervous system. In the brainstem-/PNS-predominant category (blue ellipse and circle), most cases had Lewy pathology in 1–3 structures in the brainstem (blue ellipse), except 9 cases with pathology restricted to the sympathetic trunk and/or heart (blue circle).
