Only the first 150 amino acids are shown; there are no differences between the wild type and mutant over the remaining section of the protein. Both isolates of serovar D_(s) incA contain three identical nucleotide changes, resulting in two amino acid differences between wild-type and mutant IncA. Each of these mutations results in a changed but apparently intact IncA, but each variant shows a modification in the first hydrophobic domain of the protein (B).
