TTSPs activity in lysates and supernatants of iron deficiency HepG2 cell model treated with FAC or AFF. A total of 10⁵ HepG2 cells were seeded in a six-well microplate for 24 h, then induced with 100 µM DFO for 24 h (DFO group). The following day, the DFO group was treated with 100 µM FAC and 0.5, 1, or 2 IC₅₀ AFF. Cell lysates and supernatants of HepG2 normal cells, DFO group, and FAC/AFF treated-DFO groups were added to 40 µM of Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-AMC substrate. All experiments were performed in triplicate. *denotes comparison between the DFO group and treated DFO groups with p < 0.001. The HepG2 normal cells provided the baseline data and were compared to the DFO group.
