(A) The back skin performance of mice injected intradermally with LL-37 or 0.9% normal saline and injected intraperitoneally with thalidomide or 0.9% normal saline. Images were captured before each injection (Scale Bar=5mm). (B) The severity of the rosacea-like phenotype was assessed based on the area of lesions (n=5 for each group). With the extension of LL-37 induction time, the area of dorsal skin lesions gradually increased, while that with the intraperitoneal injection of thalidomide was significantly reduced compared with 0.9% normal saline.
