Positive predictive value (PPV) of the Kumamoto criteria in the Nippon Medical School (NMS) and other cohorts.811 The PPV in the NMS group with a score of 3 was high (83%; n=5/6), similar to that in other cohorts. However, the PPV in the NMS group with a score of 2 was lower (21%; n=7/33) than in the Kumamoto8 (63%; n=29/46) and Kochi9 (69%; n=27/39) cohorts.
