β2M knockdown decreases the infarct volume in rats after MCAO.

Cerebral infarct volume at 72 hours after MCAO was measured by TTC staining. β2M inhibition decreased the infarct volume compared with that in the SC-treated rats. Data are presented as means ± SEM (n = 6–8). *P < 0.05, vs. MCAO + SC group (one-way analysis of variance followed by Tukey’s honestly significant difference post hoc test).
