Positive βs indicated greater sexuality-related body image and negative βs indicated lower sexuality-related body image. For example, people higher in body surveillance reported lower sex appeal (β = −0.14), and people higher in muscle/athletic-ideal internalization reported greater sex appeal (β = 0.19).
