Experimental protocol: all rats were fed adaptively for 7 days and randomly divided into three groups: Sham group (n = 10), SCI group (n = 10) and EA + SCI group (n = 10). Spinal cord injury models were made in SCI group and EA + SCI group. The EA + SCI group started intervention from the first day postsurgery. The rats in the Sham group and SCI group were bound with 30 min with a rat retainer during electro-acupuncture. Finally, Corresponding indexes were detected at each time point.
