Habitat of Nervilia fordii. (A) Nervilia fordii often located in the limestone mountains of the karst area in Guangxi Province, China. (B) The corm is the living state of N. fordii in every cold season. (C) The corm (↑) of N. fordii always sprout and break through the soil when the temperature rises in every March or April. (D) A community of N. fordii were found under bushes of the karst. (E) The whole plant of N. fordii is composed of the leaves, roots (*), and corms (↑).
