Antimicrobial activity of the monomer component (Fr15–6) isolated from the ethyl acetate (EA) crude extract of Penicillium macrosclerotiorum 1151# against Escherichia coli (A) and Staphylococcus aureus (B) by agar well diffusion method. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was used as the blank control (CK), and the tetracycline (TET) as positive control. The concentration of all samples was 5 mg ml– 1. The sample of the monomer component (Fr15–6) was repeated for three wells in each Petri-dish plate.
