^aThe protein was isolate by SDS-PAGE from p2Lc3, and tryptic peptides were produced and separated by size exclusion HPLC. The tryptic peptides were analyzed by MALDI-MS for size determination and subjected to Edman degradation for NH₂-terminal peptide sequence.
