Microwave exposure regulated cytokine levels in peripheral blood. At 6 h and 7 d after microwave exposure, peripheral blood was collected from rats in the Sham, S10, X10 and XS10 groups. The serum was isolated by centrifugation. The concentrations of cytokines (IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-4, TNF-α, IL-12, IFN-γ) were analyzed by multiplex immunoassays using a commercial Luminex immunoassay kit according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
