(A) Reduced amount of secreted RNA (sec-RNA) in the supernatant of Lm-∆secA2 and Lm-∆eno as compared to wild type (Lm); (B) IFN-β induction capability of cytosolic RNA and sec-RNA isolated from Lm, Lm-∆secA2 and Lm-Δeno. No significant differences were detectable for cytosolic RNAs.
