N-acetylcysteine inhibits concentration and time-dependent on the effects of SARS-CoV-2 mosaic (S-E-M) on inflammatory cytokines. (A) Differentiated U937 macrophages and (B) bronchial epithelial BEAS2B were incubated with N-acetylcystine (NAC) at 16 µM, 35 µM, 1.6 mM, and 5 mM for 24 h, 72 h, and 144 h, followed by the stimulation with mosaic (S-E-M) 50 ng/mL for 24 h. Cell supernatants were collected to measure different cytokines by ELISA. Data are presented as scatter dot blot of n = 4 independent experiments run in triplicate, with median and interquartile range values.
