Inhibition of biotinylated gC1qR binding to immobilized protein A by S. aureus Cowan I and Wood 46 strains. Biotinylated rgC1qR (∼2 μg/ml) was incubated (60 min, 37°C) on protein A-coated microtiter wells in the presence or absence of fixed Cowan I or Wood 46 strains of S. aureus (1% cell suspension).
