Segmentation performed on T2 and DWI sequences in the sagittal plane along the tumor boundary. The endometrial cavity is replaced by solid heteroplastic tissue characterized by intermediate signal intensity in the T2 sequences and high signal compared with the neighboring myometrium in the DWI images; the tumor is bounded by the red area as shown in the figure alongside both sequences as performed in the segmentation process, on the T2 and DWI.
