Fluorescent images of HeLa cells incubated with probe 12 (10 μM) under different conditions. The cells were incubated with probe 12 for 2 h before (A–C) and after treatment with caspase-3 in the absence (D–F) or in the presence (G–I) of caspase-3 inhibitor Z-VAD-fmk (50 nM) for 2 h.
