Celastrol improved urinary protein excretion and renal function in 5/6 Nx rats. The levels of 24-h proteinuria (g/24 h) and serum ALB (g/L), Scr (μmol/L), BUN (mmol/L), TG (mmol/L), TC (mmol/L), serum Ca (mmol/L), and serum P (mmol/L) were detected using a fully automated biosystem chemical analyzer (Hitachi 7180) (A–G, I). The levels of renal index in each group are shown in Figure 1(H). Data are presented as the mean ± inter-quartile range, *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01.
