Detection of antibodies against the recombinant R2 fragment of the glycoprotein B in young animals. (A) Detection of antibodies against the R2 protein in the sera of four animals (F, G, H, I) after 20 days and after 45 days. (B) Detection of antibodies against the R2 fragment in the sera of eight animals (K, L, M, O, Q, R, S, T) from the same litter at day 60 and day 120. The serum from animal L was tested on both days. Animals O, L, Q, R and S, were male, T was a female. P, positive control, N, negative control. Serum dilution 1:300, goat anti-pig horse reddish peroxidase was used for detection. Blots were cut prior to hybridization with antibodies during blotting, each stripe was incubated with an individual serum.
