Connectivity and overall survival in newly diagnosed HGG. In newly diagnosed HGG patients, three significant cortical clusters whose connectivity with the tumor mass displayed predictive power over OS were identified: two clusters located in the right and left frontal lobes, and the right occipito-temporal cortex (the correlation analyses revealed a variance in explained OS ranging from R² = 81–92%; P < .001). FC of solid tumor and three control brain regions were extracted and correlated with OS, showing no significant correlation with overall survival (lower panels; r < 0.1, P > .1; for additional control regions see Supplementary Figure S2).
