Naive triplet loss vs. SRT loss distance learning over training iterations. The plots show the learned d1 (distance between genuine pairs) and d2 (distance between imposter pairs) by each loss over training iterations. It can be clearly noticed that the anchor (model output) of the model trained with SRT loss is more similar to the positive than the anchor of the model trained with naive triple loss.
