Inhibition of the binding of K88ac fimbriae to IMTGP K88 receptors by Fab fragments of K88 MAbs. Brush border proteins were separated by SDS–7% PAGE and transferred to nitrocellulose membranes. The separated proteins were incubated with biotinylated K88ac adhesins that had been preincubated with MAb 30/17, 36/41, or 221/38 or BSA. The arrowheads indicate the positions of the IMTGP.
