Decay chain of ²²⁵Ac. ²²⁵Ac decays to ²⁰⁹Bi with seven intermediate radionuclide progenies, including ²²¹Fr, ²¹⁷At, ²¹³Bi, ²⁰⁹Tl, ²¹⁷Ra, ²¹³Po, and ²⁰⁹Pb. Among the decay chain ²²⁵Ac and ²¹³Bi are medically relevant and intensively investigated.
