Cultures were performed as in Fig. 1 with various concentrations of H. pylori urease (12.5, 25, 50, and 100 μg/ml), French press lysate, and intact bacteria (equivalent to protein concentrations of 3.125, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50, 100, and 200 μg of protein/ml each) in the absence (A) and presence (B) of PHA plus PMA.
