Transcription levels of the specified genes in transiently HBV-transfected HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were transfected with a plasmid containing 1.3 × HBV genome (HepG2-HBV) or with an empty-vector (HepG2-pcDNA3.1), followed by treatment with the indicated concentration of AFB1 and testosterone for 72 hours. The gene expression was determined by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction with glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase as control. Data represent means ± SEM.
