Figure 6

Caulerpin inhibited the migrative and invasive properties of colorectal cell lines. Inhibition of migration of HCT-116 (A) and HT-29 (B) with the treatment of IC10 and IC50 doses for 24 and 48-h. The wound widths were quantified in lower panels. Inhibition of invasion of HCT-116 (C) and HT-29 (D) cells through a Matrigel-coated CIM plate with the treatment of IC10 and IC50 doses of caulerpin for 48-h. The real-time cell index of invasion of HCT-116 and HT-29 cell lines was given in the upper panel; the end-point results were given in the lower panel. Data represent the mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. Statistical differences were analyzed with a two-way ANOVA test (* indicates p < 0.005, ** indicates p < 0.001, *** indicates p < 0.0001, **** indicates p < 0.00001, ns indicates not significant).
