1 Antibodies yielding inconsistent or no evident immunoreactivity were tested in morphologically healthy dolphin brain tissues. Potential immunoreactivity in pathological specimens were not excluded, but these antibodies require validation in cetaceans. 2 Isolectin B4 is not an antibody, but only a protein that can agglutinate cells/glycoproteins/some complex carbohydrates. It agglutinated to vascular glycoproteins in the human and dolphin sections, but the signal was too weak for further use.
