CTX is the major component (75.64% of the total venom proteins), followed by alpha-neurotoxins (both SNTX and LNTX, 7.43%). Abbreviations: 3FTx, three-finger toxins; SNTX, short neurotoxin; LNTX, long neurotoxin; WTX, weak neurotoxin; CRiSP, cysteine-rich secretory protein; SVMP, snake venom metalloproteinase; KSPI, Kunitz-type serine protease inhibitor; LAAO, L-amino acid oxidase; PDE, phosphodiesterase; AChE, acetylcholinesterase; CVF, cobra venom factor; NGF, nerve growth factor; 5′-NUC, 5′-nucleotidase; VES, vespryn; PLA2, phospholipase A2.
