Figure A1

Flow cytometry of BMSCs at passages 0 and 3 was positive for CD10, CD29, CD73, CD90, CD105, and CD146 but almost negative for CD106 and STRO-1 (a). BMSCs cultured in the presence of bFGF were positive for CD10, CD29, CD73, CD90, CD105, and CD146 and slightly positive for CD106 and STRO-1 (b). Cultivation with bFGF increased the HLA-DR-positive fraction in BMSCs, and this HLA-DR-positive fraction was negative for chemokine receptor-5 (CCR-5) and CD14 (c,d). BMCs: bone marrow stromal cells; bFGF: basic fibroblast growth factor.
