Diffusion tensor imaging bilateral regions of interest identified using the Johns Hopkins University atlas, which included the genu of the corpus callosum (red), anterior limb of the internal capsule (green), external capsule (purple) and anterior corona radiata (blue). In addition, a bilateral control region was created at Montreal Neurological Institute coordinates (24, −75, 16) and (−22, −75, 16) in the occipital lobe (orange) and expanded to spheres of radius of 4 mm around those points.
