Local reaction was defined as pain, redness, swelling, itching at or near the injection site. Systemic aches included headache, muscle/body aches, and joint aches/pain. Gastrointestinal included nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and/or abdominal pain. Six participants receiving Novavax as dose 3 responded to the day 3 survey, of which 0 events were reported.
