Isolated PBMC (2 × 106 cells/ml) were incubated with medium alone or Al(OH)3 at 5 μg/ml. After 24 h of culturing, total mRNA was extracted and analyzed by semiquantitative RT-PCR. The densitometry units were calculated by dividing the values of the specific PCR products by the values of G3PDH PCR products. Results of four independent experiments are shown. Data are median values (minimum and maximum values are in parentheses).
