Isolated PBMC (2 × 106 cells/ml) were incubated with medium alone or Al(OH)3 at 5 μg/ml. After 24 h of culturing, total mRNA was extracted and analyzed by semiquantitative RT-PCR. The densitometry units were calculated by dividing the values of the specific PCR products by the values of G3PDH PCR products. Results of four independent experiments are shown.
