Applying two popular clustering algorithms to successive subsets randomly sampled from the Lung reference data set identifies more clusters with increasing data set size. The number of clusters identified by Seurat at three different resolutions (0.4, 0.8, and 1.2) as well as SC3 is plotted against the number of cells included in the analysis on the log scale.
