The immunohistochemistry of utricle. Staining of both estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) and 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE) were markedly stronger in the OVX + vehicle group than in the sham + vehicle group. Staining of ERα and 4-HNE in the OVX + estradiol and OVX + raloxifene groups were lower than those in the OVX + vehicle group and equal to those for the sham + vehicle group.
