CHB: Chronic Hepatitis B

Adult patients with chronic hep B (age 18 or above). Patients receiving treatment for chronic hep B. The research published in the past five years. Patients taking alpha interferon or nucleotide analogs or combination. Patients from any geographical region of the world. Systematic reviews and observational studies were included.

Children (age less than 18). Pregnant patients with CHB. Transplant patients with CHB. Chronic hep B patients with other co-morbidities (e.g., kidney disease, bone disease) and receiving treatment regimens for other co-morbidities. Patients who developed multiorgan failure from CHB patients with liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma who are also receiving treatment for CHB. Studies that were conducted before 2017. Patients with an acute flare-up of hepatitis B. Articles on guidelines.
