After irradiation and consequent radical generation, the sample is ready for DNP (B): the bottom part of the sample vial (4) sits inside the bottom wrench (5) in liquid nitrogen; the irradiated sample is transferred into the vial, a new PTFE O-ring (3) put in place and squeezed by the top part of the vial (2) using the top wrench (1).
