Basal ganglia and centrum semiovale ePVS rating are scored from Grade 1 to 4 (mild to severe) as a 2-level variable: grade 1 and 2 versus 3 and 4. Models were adjusted for age, sex, time interval between PSG, ApoE ε4 carrier status, hypertension, and smoking. ePVS, enlarged perivascular spaces; REM, rapid-eye movement. The apnea-hypopnea index was log-transformed.
