Nintedanib inhibits p-Akt and TKS5 in IPF fibroblasts. Healthy lung fibroblasts were cultured in the presence of PDGF-BB 25 ng/mL +/− nintedanib. (A) The mRNA levels of TKS5 (n = 5) and (B) the percentage of invadosome-forming cells (n = 6) were measured. IPF fibroblasts were cultured in the presence of PDGF-BB 12.5 ng/mL or nintedanib 0.2 µM and 0.5 µM. (C) mRNA levels of TKS5 were determined (n = 4−5) and expressed in folds relative to untreated cells.
