EVF_EtOH and rutaecarpine block entry of wild-type pseudovirus into HEK293T cells overexpressing ACE2. (A) The ELISA assay successfully demonstrated the entry of pseudovirus into these cells, exhibiting a dose-dependent response to dilution of the virus. (B) EVF_EtOH and (C) rutaecarpine blocked entry of the pseudovirus into the cells in dose-dependent manner. SARS-CoV-2 neutralising antibody was used at 1 µg/mL as a positive control. The values represent the mean ± SD percentage of inhibition to control (with no drug treatment) and n = 3.
