Response to colorectal distension (CRD) was collected using a score system; one (a) and two (b) weeks after intracolonic administration of DCA vehicle (Non-IBS), 4 mmol/L DCA (IBS), L. fermentum (109 CFU) (L. ferm), Gabapentin at 70 mg/kg (GBP) and Rifaximin at 150 mg/kg (RFX) treated rats.
