Mean tibial nerve cross‐sectional area (CSA) based on presence of neuropathy symptoms or signs. Mean tibial nerve CSA (mm²) for participants was stratified by neuropathy symptoms or signs, as documented in Total Neuropathy Score and modified Toronto Clinical Neuropathy Scale scores. Tibial nerve CSA is greater in participants who have symptoms or physical signs of neuropathy. In the normal nerve conduction studies (NCS) group, participants with symptoms have greater tibial nerve CSA than those without symptoms.
