OxPAPC treatment does not influence the effect of argon preconditioning on HO-1 and HSP-70.

Fold induction of HSP70 and HO-1 mRNA expression compared to GAPDH in relation to untreated cells after treatment with rotenone, preconditioning with argon, and inhibition with OxPAPC. Argon attenuates the rotenone-induced release of the cytokine IL-8 and OxPAPC counteracts this effect. (C) Analysis of IL-8 mRNA expression using qPCR.
