RALE score association with clinical outcomes. (A) Non-survivors had higher RALE scores than survivors (25.1 [19.8–33.0] vs 22.3 [15.0–31.0], p=0.0014). (B) By Kaplan-Meier curve analysis, patients in the low tertile of RALE scores (<19.6) had improved survival compared with patients in middle/high tertiles. (C) Higher care needs on final disposition were associated with higher RALE scores at baseline: long-term acute care facilities (LTAC) (33.3 [22.9–40.4]) or in-patient rehab (IPR) (32.0).
